^I had no idea that Lumpini Stadium had closed in 2014 until I watched your vid. I had front row seats a few times when I practiced at Fairtex. It was something to experience up close! Great video!
It makes me miss Thailand. Lumpini also used to have a night market when I lived in that area way back in 2006 at the time I did my CELTA in Siam area.
I enjoy your vids, Pat. Keep at it!
We are getting bombarded by snow these last few weeks. It truly was a winter wonderland when I went to work this morning. What do ya think? I'm really sick of it now.

Thanks. Fairtex they take it easy on the non-pro farangs but it's still a hard slog, my mates been going 11yrs and swears by the place. I used Jittii gym and Big Shots longer term and tried a few others. A Zambian guy gave me sore ribs at Rompo gym in 2007
Suan Lum night bazarr got a touristified makeovee in the later years but it was a fun place

Gosh, how's that Global Warming going for you Vendetta, what's all that white stuff?
For 20 years, global warming alarmists warned snow would vanish: "Children just aren’t going to know what snow is."
If the facts don't fit the model then maybe the model is wrong

Yeah, it was challening, but ended up loving it and couldn't get enough. That was my first experience with Muay Thai then went on to try Jitti's and then did a month at Palapon in Hua Hin.
Suan Lum night bazaar had a cool ferris wheel way back when. I haven't been to the new place down the river a bit, you? I can't even think of the name of it off hand.
^Just because we have snow it doesn't mean Global Warming doesn't exist, Tinkles!

The place with a wheel is the rip off Asiatique where most of the stalls are hard sell Indians. You gotta watch where you glance otherwise you'll get overwhelmed by pushy sales staff. Best walk head down.
Suan Lum is no more. There's a pretend version using it's name and past glory to drum up custom, but it's inside a Chinese owned zero dollar hotel at corner of Ratchada and Lat Phrao and sells mostly ornaments, shirts with tuk tuks on and dried fruit..A few have fallen for it and moaned online. Not surprising.
