I lost the weight, I was aiming for more but the missus freaked out I was too thin and people were asking if I was sick so I started at the gym to bulk up a bit, not to lose weight. To lose weight the key is cardiovascular. Running and cycling in my case.
The last six months have been a balancing act. I've actually put on a kilo but haven't lost a notch on the belt and my arms and chest are much thicker and stronger.
It's nice being like this.
And people notice.
So no Plies, you sanctimonious twat, it's not "trying to lose weight nothing more nothing less".
Unless you're on the treadmill or stationary cycle the gym is not for losing weight. It's for gaining weight or strength.
