    How's everyone doing

  • #2
My neighbor of 20 years wants to have me in jail for walking into his home to check on him after I banged on his door for ten minutes. Yea, I knew he was home and thought something was a miss as he did not answer the the door. It was open and I walked into his kitchen and then into the living room calling his name. I left wondering what was up. Then I spent the night in Jail. Had to post some loot in bail and am waiting to be nailed by my neighbor who's kid often stole from me. I have a note from the kid explaining how he is sad for what he did. I just can't imagine that his dad is a twat for me checking on his health and wellbeing thinking he hit the floor ect.
I should have known he was in the barn "tending to his Goats".
Man I'm out of here as soon as I can be.

Oh, BTW I recently retired from WEC after operating six power plants along the way. I'd name them but why bother. It would just sound like a Jonny Cash song....OK why not. Oak Creek, Milwaukee County, Elm Road Generation Station, Pleasant Prairie Power Plant. The Valley on coal then Gas, Port Washington can kiss my ass!

I was on the start up crew at Elm Road. It was about a year on schooling in a trailer at the plant while frequently looking at the progress as they built the joint. We had the P&ID's to make sure it was tight. I only shit my pants twice. Well could have been more. Lucky I'm alive with pipes shaking and all that jive.
This one rings a bell..I was with a co worker when the plant "went out" One of the units tripped. He was screaming run mother ****er, run mother ****er as we headed across the feeder deck into the **** roll room.
If you have never been in a supercritical power plant upon the first start up you have not shit your pants. Well you may have just walking down the street. I'm talking high Presser high temperature steam, thus super critical they say. When you see pipes swaying, buildings shaking on the way to the turbines singing at 3600rpm wanting to spit the bearings as they hum, know when to run.

I visited TC a few times as a guest but had to stop. It is a sickening place. - Aging One

Teakdoors loss is Thailand Chatters gain - a spurned leper or genius ahead of his time?

I'm still around though not sitting in a control room for twelve hours on a rotating shift up in Port Washington. I almost miss the place 😄 haha.
It was a good gig but I recently retired and am spending my time moving out of my halfway house because I no longer feel the need to be half-way to Port. Also I have a 💑 couple moving into it in a few weeks so we, miss fish and I have been cleaning the place up.

I'm leaving the snow blower, lawn tractor, push mower, washer, dryer, stove and fridge. I'll get over 1100 a month in rent and they will take care of the three bed, one bath house on a corner lot in the brew town while we hang out at our country home.

Not a bad deal as I bought it during the crash of 2010 for pennies on the dollar.

I was On the startup crew at Elm Road at the time and so I had more money than time during the housing crash thus things just fell into place and the fish ended up smelling like a 🌹 rose.

I've had several tenants since but left it vacant for the last few years as I was using it as a half-way house as I worked at Port Washington about an hour and a half from our main home.

You see after I served my apprenticeship I went to school for property appraisal and assessment just for kicks. It was tough working and going to technical school at the same time as well as raising miss fish's kids and making sure I was not shot by her ex husband who was abusive and beating her and her kids. I did however get a plaque from the school and my name placed on the wall for being the top of the thermal plastics class as that was what I was doing at the time.

So next time you see a tapper handle, illuminated chalk board or the 48 inch Coors Lite light lamp shade above the pool table you should say a prayer for....
