Describe your Thai wedding

When you married your Thai girl, was it a village wedding, in a fancy hotel or what?

Did you register it or did you just do a village ceremony.

Me and Mrs. Maimeetang eloped and got married on a lovely beach in Thailand After that, we went and registered the wedding proper at the Ampor so she could take my name, get a green card / US citizenship and travel freely with me. Then we broke the news to her mom and dad. They were in shock!

I got married in Bangkok and registered it in my wife's Ampur. I was living in Japan and my wife needed proof she was my wife to join me there. A few years later we had a small wedding ceremony at a medium fancy hotel in Vientiene. It was 2003 and I recall the hotel still had their "Happy New Year" cheezy glitter sign hanging in July. No videos exist.
