Nippy here in udon too, and I don't have any slippers not even clarks, so all I have on is a pair of issarn shoes known as "thongs" down under to keep my tootses warm tonight I will wear some socks to bed.
If I were English, I could have worn my socks and thongs as in the manner of pommy beach wear. But as I am not a pom or able to afford Bokinstax I will just have to make do.

I have to laugh at you long timers here. It is still a warm summers day compared to the minus 40c my daughter has been enduring in Alberta. Says it is 26c in Korat, nice cool day, but tee shorts and no socks. Frigging great weather boys. Might have to pull the sheet over my red and white body tonight as it getting down to 19c.

Back to the 30's tomorrow.

In Chiang Mai at the moment and the weather is bloody lovely.

Its horrible and cold, about freezing here, and everything is shrunken as a result.
