What's truly unfortunate about that old place is the high number of long-time intelligent and introspective regulars that have dropped off or participate very seldom.
Can't blame 'em, really. Look at the place - full of this rather newish generation of Teakdorians that don't understand the place nor connect. Bickering, back-stabbing, personal vendettas, extreme agendas, stalking, multiniking abounds, etc.

And then on top of that, a management team/owner that don't give a fuk towards the well being of a once rich and eccentric venue.
Why bother re-registering the domain if your hearts not in the game.

The member origin had a closer association with AjarnForum refugees than those of TVF. A bit of a misnomer about the ThaiVisa connections.

Yes - the good old days were of weirdos and misfit, yet in a good, intelligent, and witty manner. Making it exceptionally different and alternative, naturally inviting those who dare to consider and connect things differently - if they could keep up.

Not really as once TD really started 'cranking', just after the name change from whatever DD was calling his construction forum, you had folks like Jai Dee trolling TVF telling people if they want to have 'fun', get on over to TD.

I reckon Jai Dee still maintains a nick on TD so when he wants to go slumming he can!
