I think it was Portugal not Spain.

He had that bit right anyway, only spending the cool season in Thailand. Portugal is a fabulous place to spend March and October, when the UK is a bit chilly and Thailand full of field burning smog / at the height of its monsoon.

Cyrille/Sybille was an Ajarn stalewart before the forum was pulled. He actually was rarely on TD only went there after the TEFLER insult haven went down same as tomcat and a few other of the peeps on there.

That place the mods simply gave up, anything went and it did, years of wars, fights and history there between many. He is capable of good posts in all fairness, the dry wit, but the overtones of pompous know it all arse take over. Nothing wrong with being a prick but a proper **** takes skillz.

Concur re Dr. Andy on his construction threads. Quite good they were.

Top stalkers IMO were: Willy, Dr. Andy and of course, the infamous Knobertson. Probably leaving a few out here...

I think it's just whinging about a few members, not so much the whole TD forum. I haven't read anyone moaning about old photo threads or holiday photos .

The repo clique would like everyone to think that it's because of their great forum input and real life expat accomplishments, mostly in the DH, that the forum is ''better'' but really it's neither.
