He's ok, but he does contradict himself, which leads me to think he's speaking from scripts prepared by others. For example, in one video he'll recommend the best pre and post workout foods, yet in another he'll recommend that you workout during your fasting window.
Yeah, the thing about these youtubers is that I take the information they present that is beneficial to me and use it.
^Oh ya, that's interesting.
I have been in ketosis for about three months.. but it is because I haven't been eating sugar and very low carb. If I cheat I usually get kicked out of ketosis which isn't fun.
I have never done a water fast. I have done the intermittent fasting 16 hour before, but not in awhile. I need to do that again soon. Has all kinds of benefits.
After a year I used this "shelter-in-place" home time to do another water fast.
I did 40 hours this time.
I felt good, and it did lean me out a bit. As they say (hope it's correct) you hit Ketosis at the 13 hour mark, if you didn't eat a lot of sugar and refined carbs for your last meal. If so, it's about the 16 hour mark.

Water helps to maximize physical performance, hydration has a major effect on energy levels and brain function, drinking water may help to prevent and treat headaches, drinking more water may help relieve constipation, drinking water may help treat kidney stones...
The reason for the way of eating is that I'm quite sure that I have inflammation, be it chronic or acute.
I did some home tests that I read up on and also read "The Plan" by Lyn-Gynet Recetas.
With eating leafy greens and avoiding processed foods it will go away over time. Possible 2-3 months. Worth noting is that I "cheating" sometimes but this is rare.
I wanted to do a comprehensive allergy test but the two Naturopathic doctors are booked solid for some time.
Related to the fasting. I finished the 62-hour fast, 7 days ago, but I have not been the same since - but this is likely a good thing. I likely "reset" my system (there are articles on this).
This reset means, that prior to the 62-hour fast, foods that I reacted negatively to I was not aware of. Now, when I react - I think I am reacting - it cause me to feel very very full in a bad way and feel "odd."
Example:
I ate a baguette vegetable sandwich the bread went very slowly through my body to digest. I felt full over 6 hours later. Before I was "normal."
Beer: After a couple of beers to feel bloated and am bloated the next day. Before nothing noticeable - but perhaps my body was reacting negatively to the beer.
Ice cream: last night I had a cheat snack (I rarely snack at all now). It was about 9 pm or so and I got hungry so I stopped in a mini-mart and bought 3 different types of this factory-processed ice cream. There are dozens of different ones in a large freezer. I just pick them at random. Things like ice cream sandwiches, pseudo-bon bon, and ice cream cone. They are low quality b/c thy are cheap (IMO).
This morning I felt bloated at 6 am when I got up. I have not eaten anything at it's 7:30 pm. I have felt awful, had nausea and felt like throwing up. I just had a Fanta.
