I bet Mid was peppered with Greens after posting that

I know a 'merican from an old Thailand forum that has an arsenal of rifles & real assault rifles. He's a gun collector of course & loves his collection, worth quite a bit of money

    And he doesn't vote Republican

(shit I can't lie yes he does)

Well, Tinkles old bean, there does exist in this world correct-minded Democrats - albeit they are few and far between!
God, the panic within the Dems, MSM, and left must be horrifying...realizing that Joe is really the best they've got.

Why are there so many criminals?

People in Detroit don't have livestock. If electric fences are banned so should guns be banned.

Surely liberty also means freedom from fear? FAIL!

              Genuine question.

With all it's madness, are mass school shootings common in Thailand? I'm not refering to the troubled south, but physcotic mass shootings by an individual on meds?

If someone breaks in my house with kids, I'd prefer to be armed with more than a butterknife and the threat of calling the Rozzers!

how often are you likely to require a shooter to protect ones family, i have lived on this earth for 70 years, and never had the need for a gun and have never heard(directly) of i person that has required one.?

Hey Peter...have you ever heard the expression "it's better to have it (in this case a weapon) than not need it - vs. to need it and not have it?

Switzerland ownership of guns is 25-30% of the popluation. USA gun ownership is 24-30%.

Switzerland has very few homicides and very rare mass shootings. Why?

Because Switzerland regulates ownership and access and training much more, AND they have a high rate of involuntary mental health admissions - they detain nutters BEFORE they can kill people.

The issue isnt 2A and the right to own guns - that will not change in our lifetimes. And making it illegal will not stop nutters using guns to kill people anyway - that will only make it harder.

The issue is tighter regulations on what guns the people can buy and who can buy them, AND dealing with mental health issues in people.

In a country with 'open' gun ownership laws such as USA, I find it ridiculous that people's 'rights' mean that people who are clearly mentally ill/damaged are not detained. Why wasn't the nutter who killed those kids in MD High School detained and assessed - there was many reports and many claims - yet he was allowed to stay free because to detain him would end up with litigation and claims for damages - which has happened many many times. You cant detain someone in USA because they 'might' be dangerous to others, but you can in Switzerland.

IMO the People of USA need to make a big decision - do they restrict people's rights to gun ownership and to personal freedoms - or do they keep the status quo and accept it as the price to pay for those freedoms and rights.
If I dont respond it is because: A) Libtard; B) Blocked Libtard; C) Playing Golf

How does that factor into the argument for the right to bear arms?
