I'm interested in Asia's value for money sweetspots. For example, Kaohsiung in Taiwan not only has better weather than Taipei but it's a more liveable city and is about 25% cheaper for many things. The same goes for KL compared to Bangkok - it's not only a far more liveable city, it's cheaper.

Was planning to go in late 2019 but got sidetracked, and I've yet to set foot in the PI. Having watched a few vlogs, the city looks to be a dump. I'm sure the surrounding countryside is amazing though. Dalat and the Cameron Highlands are likely the best highlands in SE Asia.

A place in the PI on my radar though is Tagaytay, which although not at as high an altitude as Baguio looks more attractive and convenient to get to
