Jews are a strange ethnic group, despised by a certain sections of the community but they do have characteristics that seem fail to endear them to the wider community. I lived for a time in a residential flats in kings cross area of Sydney.
I rented an apartment from this old Jewish guy, He lived alone, in the smallest room so while he had pots of money he lived a very frugal existence. While the cross was awash with money at that time, due primarily to it being the, center of R and R activity for Americans, so clubs and booze were plentiful, plenty of activity for a young lad, at the time a lived with a couple of good time girls, so I lived very well, with their money
. All the time the old Jew lived in his 1 small room, never went out, didn't drink and certainly never entertained the sort of woman that I associated with.
