Considering this is "The forum of posters who like to whinge about TD", why would you want to make this 'the new TD'? Something else to whinge about, perhaps?

I don't want to make this the new TD. I was playing devil's advocate when I started the thread.

TD is smutty, financed by prostitution, and was started as a playground by a whoremonger. This forum needs none of that, or the mod bias that favours the like-minded.

What was very TD here was your post and the way it started with a sneer about me. That caused me to not read the rest of it, which may have been better....

TC's political content with respect to Thailand is second to none I believe. As a smaller forum, it can go places other, larger forums just can't go- too much to damn lose, especially under a repressive dictatorship. Those several of you that supported this certainly have abdicated any right to complain about it.

Also, if you are a grumpy old white man that is convinced white people are the most picked on and disadvantaged in the world today- especially white males, particularly white American males, then you will soon enough become an honorary member of the TC Old Geezers club (TM), and you can cry into each others cornflakes about Lib'ruls, the left 'leaning media', and the evil machinations of the sinister Dark Lord Soros- all while praying to Supertrump as your saviour. While it is by no means an opinion shared by the ownership, you certainly have your own space here.

With regard to the first paragraph quoted - might have missed it although suspect not, there's a dearth of any of "us" who support the ruling government here in LOS that are complaining.

And, w/regard to the second paragraph, latest revelations coming out of Washington are bearing up the facts that the liberals have indeed lied, cheated and schemed to the nth degree e.g. The Clinton Scandals. TM
